At the end of Diana’s styling appointment I had asked her if there was anything that she saw on my website or pinterest page that caught her eye. She looked up at me and quietly said, I really love flowers in the hair. Ohhhhh, a girl after my own heart! Honestly if someone took my camera away from me and said you cannot do this again I would do something with flowers. They pull at my soul, always have. So do these images (even the ones without the flowers!).
Have you seen one of my most favorite images from Morgan’s photoshoot ? She has flowers in her hair.
There are usually a handful of images that are “it” for me. This photoshoot was no different but then there were so many others that I couldn’t part with. I had to put them in a magazine and have you tell me. Which ones are your favorite?
Would love to here from you! If you like this take a look here at some other Paige P. magazines.
I don’t often think of my work as work but shortly before a photoshoot I was on the phone with my son (checking in from college) and looked at the clock. It was a few minutes before start time. I said, I have to go to work, hung up and then thought, wow, really? This is work? So instead of telling you, I thought I’d show you. I came home with burrs in my shoes, scratched up legs and a whole lot lighter from laughing so much. Take a look. This honestly is a typical day at work for me.
The cherry on top…all video and stills are by my assistant…who happens to be my daughter.

The minute I met Emma for her styling consult I could feel the energy dancing around the room. Without even saying a word I knew how excited she was for her photoshoot. Day of, it was no different. There is nothing better than photographing someone who is so completely and utterly happy to be in the moment that she’s in. Part way through the photoshoot her mom came up to me and said…
You know, this is her dream come true. There was no other photographer for us, we chose you and that was it. Emma has been following you for 3 years.
My heart skipped a beat. And then when I looked at the images, it skipped 2 more beats. Take a look…
Have you booked your fall photoshoot yet? I only have a few availabilities left. Get in touch!
The day of Aranka’s photoshoot she pulled into the driveway with her Aunt, who, obviously loves her tons AND is a friend of mine who I haven’t seen since high school! We caught up and then she pulled me to the side and said I’m not really sure what you do but Aranka is a little nervous and really needs to have fun. That. Is. My specialty!
It was one of those crisp, blue, blue sky days with a lot of wind which most photographers probably cringe at. I actually like it a lot. I love the movement and it usually makes people feel good. Aranka had brought along a split skirt that took on a life of its own in that wind. I am in love with those images! We laughed so much trying to wrangle it in. So yes, we definitely had fun…just what Aunt Maria ordered!
P.S. Wishing you a day early Happy Birthday Aranka!
Head on over to my Instagram. I’ve got more content than I can possibly post once a week here on the blog; happy birthdays, events, additional photoshoots and video are posted frequently.
I hope you had a great summer! We spent our vacation with eight high school seniors soon to be Freshmen in college, sounds crazy, I know, but it was the perfect way to end our summer. We soaked up every minute of it. Spending time with all these really great kids, all on the cusp of starting something new was special. A couple weeks later we brought our son (first born) to college. I’ve been more or less preparing for this for the past year or rather 18 years, I don’t think though, that will ever cushion a parent from the heartbreak of saying goodbye to their child. Everyone will ask, how was it and honestly all I can think to say is heartbreaking. He is 10 hours away and won’t be home until Thanksgiving. His presence is missed daily even with another sibling still at home. They all have that special something they add to the home and it will be missing. I’m sad but it’s a double edged sword. He is really happy where he is. This is what we’ve been getting him ready to do for the past 18 years. To go out on his own, find happiness, make good decisions, stay safe…When I watched him walk back to his dorm as I sat in the car with tears streaming down my face all I could think was that he has become a young man who has exceeded my wildest expectations (in a good way!). It’s hard to be sad about that. So to all those parents who have sent their kids off to college my heart is with you. I heard it gets easier with time. Now, for me, I’m diving back into a full fall schedule and a lot of fun things to share with you.
Enjoy your weekend and make the most of the end of the summer!
